Irene wanted me to write a blog, but I thought I'd try this for a year instead.
Years later, in 2011, I realize that the above no longer makes sense, since I have stopped photographing breakfast and instead occasionally put down random thoughts. These days I photograph our granddaughter's lovely face, paint for fun, knit and teach knitting at an after-school program for girls, and read. Life is good, if a bit slow, but then, so am I.
It's a collection of short stories that unite to become a novel. Maeve Binchy is an Irish writer who wrote this character-by-character, until at the end the whole story has been told. It's not new, published in 1989, but Karen found this copy a while ago and now I've read it.
Oh, to answer your question, it's about a couple that's about to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Lots of history, back and forth from the present to the past, for all the people involved.

So, what's Silver Wedding all about? I'm asking as an almost non reader and hide my head in shame.
