Irene wanted me to write a blog, but I thought I'd try this for a year instead.
Years later, in 2011, I realize that the above no longer makes sense, since I have stopped photographing breakfast and instead occasionally put down random thoughts. These days I photograph our granddaughter's lovely face, paint for fun, knit and teach knitting at an after-school program for girls, and read. Life is good, if a bit slow, but then, so am I.
Hey, what a festive omelet we have here. That is quite different than you usual fare. And what was the occasion? What sort of filling did you have? Nice with the oranges, I can taste them now.
I had breakfast at a friend's house! We went to see Wicked in Hollywood and I spent the night at her place. The omelet had spinach and goat cheese, very tasty. Our markets are full of those little seedless tangerines, called "cuties." Do you have them in your stores?

I don't know if we have the seedless kind, because I don't eat fruit, only vitamin C pills. I did used to love tangerines, though.
You spent the night away from home? Didn't you miss Ray?
YES!
