Irene wanted me to write a blog, but I thought I'd try this for a year instead.
Years later, in 2011, I realize that the above no longer makes sense, since I have stopped photographing breakfast and instead occasionally put down random thoughts. These days I photograph our granddaughter's lovely face, paint for fun, knit and teach knitting at an after-school program for girls, and read. Life is good, if a bit slow, but then, so am I.
Is it your birthday? In case it is, Happy Birthday! I have a vague memory of your birthday being in December and I think some other people as well, I think Terry and Helen or is it Nancy?
I won't ask you how old you are now. As far as I am concerned, none of us has aged past the age of 39. That is my mental age and that's where I'm stuck for the rest of my life. Did you have a party or did you just cozily celebrate it with Ray?

Yes it was, thanks! Everyone you mentioned has December birthdays. Helen, Nancy and I are all on the tenth.

I've spread the celebration over several days. Still not finished, going to lunch with Robin and Victoria on Tuesday.
