Irene wanted me to write a blog, but I thought I'd try this for a year instead.
Years later, in 2011, I realize that the above no longer makes sense, since I have stopped photographing breakfast and instead occasionally put down random thoughts. These days I photograph our granddaughter's lovely face, paint for fun, knit and teach knitting at an after-school program for girls, and read. Life is good, if a bit slow, but then, so am I.
Oh good, there's yogurt again, and it is raspberry yogurt! Very good! I just had my portion of protein for lunch. Just so you know. Eating fish doesn't bother me in the least. I find I have no compassion for dead fish, as opposed to dead pigs or calves or lambs. I do have to deal with the lunch meat issue. I'm too poor to buy fake meat.
There are nice yellow yolks in those eggs. I'm always happy to see them, because I think you'll enjoy your breakfast more. I forgot to buy eggs today. They weren't on the list, so I walked right by them.
Trader Joe's has all sorts of yogurts, even Greek yogurt, which is very thick. I like these berry flavors where the fruit is not mixed in. There's much less sugar in them than in the stirred kind.
I can see why you would like this one and Greek yogurt sounds divine. I would buy that instantly, because it's so thick and creamy, but possibly loaded with calories. Still, a very nice treat for the weekend, but you'd have to put some sugar or honey in it for the sweetness. At least I would.
