Irene wanted me to write a blog, but I thought I'd try this for a year instead.
Years later, in 2011, I realize that the above no longer makes sense, since I have stopped photographing breakfast and instead occasionally put down random thoughts. These days I photograph our granddaughter's lovely face, paint for fun, knit and teach knitting at an after-school program for girls, and read. Life is good, if a bit slow, but then, so am I.
Well, I forgot they were cooking when I went out back to water, so when I came in they were totally hard. Not my favorite. Haven't had egg salad in a long time. That used to be a staple at Easter, to eat up all the dyed eggs. Don't do that any more, so have no eggs for sandwiches. They are great on whole-wheat bread.

Looks like plain old poached eggs to me, Laura. Which is fine too. Do you ever make egg salad sandwiches? I haven't had one of those in a long time.
