Irene wanted me to write a blog, but I thought I'd try this for a year instead.
Years later, in 2011, I realize that the above no longer makes sense, since I have stopped photographing breakfast and instead occasionally put down random thoughts. These days I photograph our granddaughter's lovely face, paint for fun, knit and teach knitting at an after-school program for girls, and read. Life is good, if a bit slow, but then, so am I.
The kiwis were all gone. People must have bought them in a hurry. Now there was an influx of oranges, which I can't eat either. Do you know those blood oranges? Those are the best. They're the reddish kind.

No Laura, you had this breakfast yesterday. Can´t be having the same breakfast twice now.
Didn't make it to the market, LOL, but will get there today for sure. I want blueberries.

I've seen them in the markets, but we didn't think they were worth the extra cost.
You should try them, they are really good and juicy, or they ought to be.
