Two days in a row with no photo! Can't believe it after all this time. But a friend called early this morning to see if I wanted to go look at the waves and have breakfast in Huntington Beach, so we did. I had two poached eggs, didn't eat the yolks, on toast, and some coffee, not so good. Then we walked to the end of the pier. The giant waves have settled down, but there was a strand of surfers strung out along the coast in either direction from us, as we stood with the fishermen and watched for the perfect wave.

Somewhere between the camera and the computer I lost the photo again, and I have no idea where it's gone. You would have been shocked, too, no eggs. My cholesterol level is far too high, so I'm going to cut back, not just on the yolks, but even on the whites. Breakfast felt a bit lacking today, alas.

And now, two days later, I have found the photo after all. Seems that as the program shut down the shot was tucked back in at the top of the file! So here it is, no eggs, lots of fruit.

Well, this has never happened before, but I somehow lost the photo. I moved it from the camera to the computer, and then thought I moved it to the regular folder, but when I tried to upload, it wasn't there! Perhaps it's gone off to live in another folder, or else it's wandering around the CPU somewhere. Anyway, it was the usual, but no yogurt. I'm still reading McCullough's The Great Bridge.
